My Monthly To Do List: February 2017

Well, it looks like I was a bit overly ambitious last month and didn’t quite get through my January to do list. Though I do have that third trimester energy boost where you want to frantically nest and get everything in order before baby’s arrival, I still overestimated how much time I would actually have to tackle tasks. However, going into my due date month (!!), I feel good about where I’m at and excited to cross a few things off my list this month. Here’s a look at what I accomplished from January before I share my to do list for February:

January Recap –

  • Submit my hospital pre-registration form (I’m due in late February)
  • Complete my birth plan (this will be easy since I already have one from Benjamin’s birth)
  • Pack my hospital bag (I’ll be sharing what I’m packing in a February post)
  • Get the bassinet, infant car seat, and infant bathtub out of storage. Everything else is ready for baby’s arrival!
  • Book newborn photo session with a photographer
  • Clean out and organize my makeup cabinet
  • Clean out and organize silverware and utensil drawers
  • Get a quote for new fireplace facade (UPDATE: Contractor scheduled for walk through)
  • Get a quote for new hardwood floor installation (UPDATE: Contractor scheduled for walk through)
  • Get sleeper sofa out of storage and reupholstered
  • Get smog test for car

February To Do List –

  • Clean out and organize my makeup cabinet
  • Get sleeper sofa out of storage, choose new fabric, and get it reupholstered
  • Get smog test for car
  • Finish taxes (we are trying to get taxes done early this year before the baby arrives)
  • Organize the stack of papers accumulating on my desk
  • Clean out and organize desk files
  • Go through toy basket and see if we can give anything away

Here’s hoping I get everything done before the baby arrives!

Aw, this was a really nice post. Spending some time and actual effort to produce a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.

I just could not depart your site before suggesting that I
extremely loved the standard information an individual
provide on your visitors? Is going to be back regularly to
    investigate cross-check new posts
